I feel like I am in a similar place. This month, I moved from being in a season of Sabbath rest, to being unemployed and looking for a job. It’s a strange transition, full of emotion about my worth, my calling, my entire approach to life. Terrifying and exhilarating! Are you in a season of searching too?

That's not an easy transition. My heart goes out to you. I originally thought I was writing this for my husband, who went through a difficult period of being unemployed for six months last year, but I realized I struggle with the same feelings. I have my work as a student, but the temptation sometimes is to discount it (and myself) as not important because it doesn't come with a paycheck.
