Outside my window: It’s a cashmere gray kind of day, and off in the distance…across the river where the mountains are, I can see that it’s snowing. But spring is slowly approaching, and the lower mountains are beginning to take on a velvety green hue.

Learning lessons in: Foundations in Fiction is the name of the unit I’m currently working through with my Oxford online classes. I love having this time to focus on the basics.
Keeping house: I need to get outside and clean up the garden beds from last fall.
To be fit and happy: Yoga, sauna, walking, golf.
Giving thanks: for my spouse. I’ll admit I’ve been a bit of a high-maintenance girl these past few weeks, but he continues to treat me like a queen.

Planning for the week ahead: I’m hoping to make a trip to see my 20-year-old son at his college. I miss him! I haven’t seen him since the New Year, which is the longest stretch I’ve ever gone without seeing him.
Book Stuff: I’ve been thinking about the upcoming anniversary of my first novel, Sorrento Girl. It has been four years! It came out in March of 2020, the same week the world seemed to shut down with the pandemic. I’m still really proud of that book.
